CE2 Specialty Clinical ExaminationSpecialty Specific Clinical Examinations (CE2) is a series of specialty specific examinations designed to test a candidate's appropriateness for the PGY2 or Practice Ready Assessment levels in a specialty stream. Important Policy Updates CE2 Score Reports The Clinical Examination (CE2) score reports will remain valid for a three year period. This applies to all the Certificates of Assessment from the 2007-2008 application cycle. Candidates planning on using a prior year's Certificate of Assessment for a specialty application (SWE or CE2), to be considered for the 2010-2011 application cycle it is MANDATORY that you apply and pay the application fee to be considered for a position. All candidates applying for specialty assessment at the PGY2 and/or PRA level will be invited to both the SWE and CE2 examinations. It is mandatory to pass both the written and clinical examinations in order to be eligible for a PGY2 or PRA position. CE1 is Now Required for Some Specialties The CE1 is required by the Ontario Universities' Program Directors for all candidates registering for the SWE and CE2 for the following specialties:
