Candidates must be able to attend on either their first OR second choice. Candidates who have completed the MCCQE1 prior to December 31st, 2009 are required to register for a Spring/Summer exam administration. Based on availability, registered candidates who completed the MCCQE1 prior to December 2009 may be allowed to take a CE1 during the Fall administration, if there are spots remaining at the end of the July 9th, 2010 registration deadline. Limited spaces may be available. This preference may be indicated by emailing info@cehpea.ca with this information. Available spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. This option is only applicable to those who have registered for a spring/summer exam. Registration at the earliest convenience will increase the likelihood of obtaining one of these spots. When selecting a date, please pick a first and second choice. Invitations will be sent out a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the exam date.
CEHPEA makes every effort to accommodate a candidate's first or second choice of exam date. Exam date assignments are based on the date the application is submitted. Positions are allocated on a first applied, first assigned basis. CEHPEA cannot guarantee that candidates will be assigned to their preferred exam dates; alternate assignments may be made at the discretion of CEHPEA.
ALL documentation AND fees MUST be submitted by the registration deadlines. No extensions will be given.
Note: If an exam does not have sufficient registration it may be cancelled and applicants moved to another date. We urge all applicants to apply early to ensure the availability of an examination date. Any candidate requiring any form of special arrangement on the day of the examination must submit a written request to CEHPEA at the time of application, as well as supporting documentation if applicable. Such candidates include those who may be breastfeeding and requiring to express milk while at the examination center, or who may have a medical condition requiring them to have access to food, medication, or a monitor (e.g. blood/glucose) during the examination. Last-minute requests are difficult to arrange and accommodations are not guaranteed. Refunds will be issued if your written request for withdrawal is received at least 60 days prior to the exam date. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable, less the administration fee of $500. For more information about CEHPEA fees, click here. |
