CEHPEA Examinations




  • Where are the General Comprehensive Clinical Examinations (CE1) held?

    All examinations are held at the CEHPEA location at 80 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5S 2V1, Canada.

  • When should I make my travel arrangements?

    Please do not make any travel arrangements prior to receiving an invitation for your examination.

  • How will candidates be notified of their examination results?

    Candidates will be notified in writing via email. Due to confidentiality, CEHPEA will not divulge results over the telephone. Email is the official form of notification and it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that their email provider can accept attachments.

  • What is the nature of the feedback on a candidate's statement of results?

    Candidates will be informed of their individual performance in the context of general performance for the entire group of examination participants. They will receive a report of their examination scores which will show their performance relative to the entire group of candidates.

  • How does CEHPEA assist candidates with their CaRMS application?

    In order to assist applicants with their CaRMS applications, CEHPEA will be releasing the CE1 scores directly to CaRMS. This will assist all candidates with the application process.

  • Is assessment through CEHPEA mandatory?

    Assessment through CEHPEA is not mandatory.

  • Must I repeat the CEHPEA General Comprehensive Clinical Examination (CE1)?

    CE1 score reports will remain valid for a three year period. This applies to all the Certificates of Assessment effective the 2006-2007 application period.

  • Can I redo the CEHPEA General Comprehensive Clinical Examination (CE1)?

    Yes, you can redo the CEHPEA General Comprehensive Clinical Examination (CE1) only once per calendar year. Candidates may attempt the exam no more than three times.
