Do I need to write the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Exam?
Yes. All candidates should have written and passed the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Exam prior to submitting an application. The Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Exam is a basic requirement for admission to the CEHPEA assessment process.

Can I submit an expired MCCEE?
The candidate can also submit an expired MCCEE. It is recommended to obtain a letter of extension from the Medical Council of Canada if the MCCEE is expired.

Do I need to write the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Exam Part 1?
Candidates applying for assessment must pass the MCCQE1 as it will be used as the written examination component of the CEHPEA assessment process.

If I fail the MCCQE Part 1 can I still participate in the General Comprehensive Clinical Examination (CE1) and be considered in the assessment process?
No. You must successfully pass the MCCQE1.
