Welcome
Our goal is to facilitate entry to training or practice for internationally educated health professionals. We play a dual role - assessing International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to ensure that they meet Canadian standards as well as providing programs to orient candidates to training and practice in Canada. In our start-up years, we focused on creating extensive services for physicians and are now actively expanding our services to other professions.
Our Staff
Our academic staff members are all highly qualified education professionals with expertise in evaluation, curriculum development and delivery.
Our Partners
To develop our assessments and orientation programs, we have increasingly collaborated and consulted with our partners and stakeholders, including the provincial and federal governments, medical schools, physicians, nurses and allied health professionals. Other key stakeholders include the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Council of Ontario Faculties of Medicine, the College of Nurses of Ontario, and other regulatory bodies of the various health professions.
