National Assessment Collaboration (NAC) Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)

CEHPEA will be administering assessments as a partner in the National Assessment Collaboration (NAC).

The NAC OSCE assesses the readiness of an IMG for entrance into a Canadian residency program. It is a national, standardized examination that tests the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for entrance into postgraduate training in Canada. As one of the five assessment centres in Canada, CEHPEA will be offering the NAC OSCE on the following dates:

All examinations are now at full capacity.

CEHPEA will start a wait list for any openings that may become available. You may register to be on the waitlist by applying online and select WAIT LIST as your date option. Please note that candidates are required to pay all required fees and submit your application in order to be placed on the waitlist.

In order to be eligible for the wait list, you must be registered with the PCRC as your medical degree must be source verified with a "positive" status. For more information on the mandatory assessment requirements, please click here.

Should spots become available, eligible candidates will be contacted in order of the date/time your application was submitted. CEHPEA cannot guarantee a spot or a specific examination date if you apply to be on the waitlist. Candidates that do not receive an examination date will receive a full refund.

The wait list will close on Monday, December 19th at 11:59pm ET

The NAC OSCE exam dates are as follows:

  • Saturday, March 24th, 2012 - Administration currently full
  • Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 - Administration currently full
  • Saturday, August 11th, 2012 - Administration currently full
  • Saturday, September 8th, 2012 - Administration currently full

Registration for the NAC OSCE will open on November 1st, 2011 and close on January 20th, 2012 OR until all seats have been filled.
